Need help with lights for hinged canopy

I just purchased a tank and stand, and did not realize that the hinged canopy could be a problem for installing lights. I wanted to install 2x250 MH with 4 T-5 and some sort of moon lighting. Looking at the canopy, I am not sure if that setup will work. I attached a few photos below. The canopy is 48" x 24" and the hinged canopy is 14" long, and raises about 6". The two boards running across are 4" wide, and there is 1 1/2" between them.

Will any retro fit kit work, or is something special I should be looking for?

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,

You're probably out of luck using metal halides with that canopy because its too low to put them underneath it. I would just mount your lights to the outter ends and the center support that doesn't flip up with the lid. That way you can have the canopy open and won't have your lights pointed up and out of the tank.
