Need help with my Yellow Tang!

Hey everyone...

Need help w/ my yellow tang, hes been acting very odd the past 2 days.


He is scraping his back white spike against the glass, does this indicate anything?

Hes been doing this constantly, not sure what to do.

Mine is doing it without being able to even see me though...

Funny, Ive had mine for 2 years and 2 months.

I would still have mine today, but a crash took it from me.Great fish, ate from the palm of my hand.Miss my Yellow Tang!

As for the why, that they do it...They are more than likely seeing there reflection.Then trying to Defend its territory.

I have one in quarentine right now,been their a few weeks.the last two days he has been doing the samething.i have had a few over the years and never seen one do it this much before.he is just a little guy,must just have little man complex!

How big is the tank? I've had a yellow tang in a 30 gallon QT tank, and he was pretty bored in there since he didn't have much swimming room.
