I recently acquired a used glass Aqueon 155 gallon drilled bow front aquarium with 2 overflows and stand. The Stand and tank need some clean up work as it was left to sit with water and some livestock in it for several months no power, filtration maintenance etc. Needless to say when I got it all the water evaporated and the fish, snails, live rock etc. were dead. I am in the process of cleaning up the tank now. The tank is already plumbed somewhat but I'm not sure if it's done correctly and how to finish the plumbing job once I am ready to set it up. Have attached a diagram which shows how it is currently configured. It basically has 1 drain with strainer and one return pipe in each overflow box. The drain and strainer sit only about 4 inches up from the bottom of the tank. I plan on installing an Aqualine wet/dry filter that came with the tank, which I will be turning into a sump/refuguim setup. Will the current setup work? Will it be noisy? How do I plumb the rest of the set up (pump valves piping etc.)? This is my first drilled tank so I want to get it right. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
