Need help with Sunpod fixture

Not sure if this is the place to post...

I have a 250w MH Sunpod fixture. It has a glass plate covers the bulb and screws that hold that glass plate in place. The glass plate needs to be unscrewed in order to change the bulb.

The issue I have is that I stripped one of the screws when I wanted to change the bulb Is there any other way to remove the glass plate to get to the bulb or any other way in general to get to the bulb?

I think that you have to remove that screw in order to change the bulb, if you stripped it try using a screwdriver with a larger head, that may help you get the stripped screw out of there.....good luck.....

Just take the fixture over to a local machine shop. You can look in the phone book to find one. They should not charge much or maybe no charge at all.
