I'm trying to add 2 T5 retros to my maxspect razor. For reference, here's what the razor looks like:
My razor sits on my tank using the legs pictured above and I want this to still be the case with the retros added (i dont have the option of hanging the fixture from ceiling or mounting to wall).
No lie, I have almost no DIY skills so I'm not trying to go for a super sleek finish or anything. I'm planning to put 2 aluminum flat bars across the razor's body. Each of these flat bars would connect to a piece aluminum c channel on either side. On the underside of the C channel is where I would mount the standoffs for the t5.

The problem is I dont know what exactly I'm looking for to secure the aluminum flat bars to the razor's body. I had some kind of screw clamp in mind, kinda like this but not exactly.
The edge of the razor would be gripped by this clamp. I would need one that can be drilled into the flat bar somehow. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the clamp piece that would work with what I am trying to do and how to go about attaching it to the flat bars?
Of course any suggestions/advice are welcome!
