Hi all I'm new to this so bare with me. I have a 75 gal saltwater tank with sump. All has been good but about a week ago I noticed my fish twitching and rubbing on rocks. I check the pH and all the parameters are good. I've looked very carefully at the fish and I see no indication of spots or discoloration on the fish I have a tang a coral beauty a lawnmower blenny 2 clowns they all have this behaviour. Can it be flukes? What could this be Thanks Jim

Could be a number of possible causes. Were the fish quarantined? If so, were they proactively treated for any parasites?

No on quarantined. I did add a fish about two weeks ago. Probably got something from him. I did a fresh water dip and look too see if any parasites fall off. I've had ich before there is no spots on them. Thanks for reply Jim

Ok. Should I wait or treat them. I have a hp tank. Hate to stress them anymore then they are now. Not sure what they have. All they fish are rubbing on rocks. I did a 6 min dip on tang. He didn't make it.

Based on the mortality time line, it is likely velvet or brook, probably the former. You will need to treat all fish.
