need help

i am on week 3 of my cycle and today my ph has dropped a lot yesterday it was at 8.4 and today its at 7.4

any help would be great, is this a concern during cycle?

Not an expert, but everything I've read says don't worry about PH. Swings on a daily basis are normal.

Daily pH swings are normal. If you have good air circulation in the tank room you will be fine. Pay more attention to the Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate.

+1 never heard of someone watching the PH during the cycle.

+2, but how are you testing your pH? I suspect there is some testing error going on; if your pH was really at 7.4 your rock and sand would be bubbling and dissolving.
