Ok here are the pictures, when I went to feed my corals this morning I noticed this guy on the glass. At first it appeared to be a stromella, just one really really big one with a really long foot. Then I turned on the lights to get a quick shot and he completely closed up like you see in the picture. So no I am thinking it's someone sort of small clam or something that happend to crawl onto my glass? Do they do that? In any case to give you an idea of it's size he's about 1" long. I lost him after I put the camera down.

I have a couple bi valves like that in my tank. Now an again they will crawl around on the glass. They are wonderful for your tank. I love bivalves!

Yeah it is hard to tell from the photo, but here is what happend. When the lights were out it's foot looked like a regular snail. Then I turned the lights on to get a better shot really fast. Before I could take the shot I noticed that the sides of it closed in and the foot was almost gone. Kind of like a clam or something. Then once I snapped the photo it shot across the tank and I lost it. But the way it closed up around the foot reminded me of how some clams look when they close after getting irritated by a fish or something. This thing definitely had two shells.

That's it! It looked exactly like that. See had I been able to make it to CORA's photography meeting my shots wouldn't have been crap. lol.
