This Tube Anemone, a Cerianthus, Arachnanthus or Pachycerianthus is found in all seas.
It must be fed on small planktonic foods. They can be a challenge to keep & are quite dangerous to other corals or giant clams. They create a tube in a deep sand bed or in a mud substrate, & need a space around them as large as the sweep of their tentacles. Anything inside that range is subject to being killed.

I have one... it is not the "fish killer" as people tend to think. Much less so than carpet anemones. I feed mine mysis shrimp about 2 x's a week, and it leaves my fish alone. look for the thread " I inherited a tube anemone... now what" someone posted a great article about these on it. (i would repost, but haven't figured everything out yet on how to post things)
But here is a picture of my anemone.

I still wouldn't consider it to be fish safe, or even clown safe. I have known someone to loose several hundred dollars worth of fish to her tube anemone. Be careful with it.

Thanks guys, to me right now, the tube anemone still safe for my fish, but I will keep an eye on it. And my 3 clowns had been in my tank for 1 year already :)

there are certain tube anemones that can easily kill fish that come by it, even clownfish. it can even give a nasty sting to a human. that is not one of them. those types are rarely in the aquarium trade that ive noticed. that is the classic purple tentacle/green center one i see once in awhile. GORGEOUS pick.. ive always thought about gettin me one of those. planktonic foods as well as mysis and brine it will accept. feed it a couple times a week. beautiful tank, btw
