Need ID on new Lavender Mushroom coral

Last week I received a small lavender mushroom from liveaquaria.com. About two days ago I started to notice these white worm looking things on one of the mushroom polyps. Without knowing exactly what I'm dealing with I'm not sure how to proceed. My water parameters are all good ammonia, nitrate, nitrite all 0 and calcium around 400ppm. The tank is 90 gallon, understocked and been running for 5 months.

Thanks

It normally expel these stringy things when it's stressed or cut. So, I'm assuming it's still trying to acclimate to your tank. As long as your params are kept constant and fine then it'll go away.

But I cant tell what't that white grainy thing though? Is is sand? or just the inside of the mouth?

Wow that is one stressed out mushroom, is it still alive? Usually when the mouth is gaping like that it's no good...
