Maybe someone could give me the names of these acan's.
I have had them for a while growing out in my frag tank and would like to add them to my new tank soon.

Could the third one be acanthastrea echinata? The second and the third pics are gorgeous.

It could be... I don't know..LOL
Thanks about the compliment... could you believe the pictures were taken with my cell phone..LOL
Good thing I got the Samsung S5 and it is waterproof..LOL

Ok.. next questions is how can you tell they are Lords?

Well the polyp shape for one . Lords tend to have easily identified independent polyps that are very fleshy. Acan echinata on the other hand have less pronounced polyps look to be more connected to each other. Bowerbankii tend to be puffy similar to lords but less obviously independent. rotundiflora are more like a chalice having very poorly defined polyps.

lords always have big puffy polyps that look separate, whenever i think of echinata, they look like the halfway point between a war coral (favites pentagonia i believe) and a lord.

Thanks for all the info. I will have to look more into the different types so I can tell them all apart.
