I've had this mushroom colony in my tank for a while now and would really like to know what it is, any help would be appreciated

cool, if i remember correctly a few years back(like 5 or 6) I remember buying a piece of live rock with this little mushroom attached. All this time later, after switching from a 30g to my current 50g I now have about 20 of these. Cant seem to stop them from reproducing
