how long does it took 1 mushroom about 1 inch in diameter to reproduce ?

anywhere from a few weeks to a year depending on the species and how much you paid for it

I have what I believe to be an ordinary purple mushroom that hitched in with our LR. Our tank is going on three weeks old. This mushroom is now about 2 inches across, though that seems to vary quite a bit with flow and time of day. At that rate, do you have any idea how long before we will have more than one? Will the original split or will there be smaller babies coming up next to it?

The mushrooms move themselves 1-2 cm across the rock to a new point and they leave babies to their old places. :rollface:
