You can do pretty much the same thing by mixing kalk with RO water to a slightly pasty consistancy. You only need about a talespoon with a few Ml of water. Experiment a little with the thickness of it. You can use a syringe from an old salifert test kit, or even a eye-dropper will work as long as the paste isn't too thick. But the thicker the better (keeps it from flying around in the tank, like JJ will), so try the syringe if you can. hth
