I needed one for one of my 4s and called their customer service out in california. I told them I wanted to buy one, but they said dont worry about it and sent me one for free.

yeah I figured as much, I just thought someone might have a broken one laying around.

another bad thing about picking a used one up is you might get a bad one. That was what was wrong with mine. A small rock or something got back into where the magnetic drive part sits and cut grooves into the magnet. This caused it to become off balance and vibrate very loudly.
