need light mounting ideas

i just bout 3-250 hqi retro kits. i'm trying to figure a way to mount them to the canopy using some sort of track so i can slide them out of the way when i need to stick my head inside the hood. dos anyone have any ideas?

you can us drawer hardware, either ball bearing or just wood like the one below

roger, if i use the ball bearing type, doesn't it have to be mounted upright so it will slide in the track?

yes, make sure you get them at a boat store they sell stainless steel ones there

do you happen to know what they are called so i can look up and see how much they are?

I think they are called ball bearing drawer rail

awesome design! it looks like you have 3 slides on each side so it must be pretty strong. how difficult was it to get them all lined up?

actually there are 4 slides, 2 on top, 1 in front and1 in the back (the back 1 was installed before the stand went against the wall) it was not that hard to line them up and it works perfect
