Need new controller board for mp40w

My controller board went bad. Where the power jack attaches to the board, there was a short and that part is shorted out. What I need to know is can I buy a replacement board or an upgraded controller as I've seen advertised. Please advise on my options and costs. As you can see by the serial number (40wg209101223) t's an older unit not under warranty. I am assuming the power head part is ok

I was kinda hoping they would just let me know here based on the serial number. So I could avoid the robo answering system. I can call if no response here.

You can buy a new QD driver, it's a substantial noise decrease anyways, $75 on their web page or at a retailer that carries their stuff.

If you don't want to do that, I have some MP40w's with drivers that look like yours. I'll sell you one of my old drivers for $45 shipped and just upgrade my unit.

I got a new QDw controller for my mp10 for $55 shipped. You may want to do that.

I do wonder though....what is it in the controller that would make the pump quieter?

I'm guessing either the drive frequency or something about the profile. I know with the VFD on my mill it is more efficient at lower frequencies. However it is a bit nicer when the drive frequency is above my audible range.
