the bulbs to chose from are NAME BRAND CATALINA AQUARIUM
10K:
Provides the optimal full spectrum light requirements of a living reef. Ideal for all marine aquariums, reef tanks, and freshwater aquariums where a deep water effect is desired. Emission spectrum strong in the blue and red regions which supports the photosynthetic processes of marine algae and freshwater plants. Promotes the growth of zooxanthellae algae, essential for the health of all corals and invertebrates. Approx 21 1/2 inches
10K Plus 450nm:
Provides the optimal full spectrum light plus a strong blue for reef hobbyist that want more blue than actinc. Ideal for all marine aquariums, and reef tanks. Promotes the growth of zooxanthellae algae, essential for the health of all corals and invertebrates. Approx 21 1/2"
420nm:
Strong in the short wavelength blue region essential for photosynthetic corals and invertebrates, deeper penetration, good for reef tanks, refugiums, corals, saltwater, high intensity light. Penetrates deeper than white light. Approx 21 1/2"
450 Plus 420:
450nm blue plus 420nm actinic 03. Combines 420nm actinic with 450nm blue to produce two different spectrums of blue in one bulb. High intensity full spectrum illumination for a living reef, strong in the short wavelength blue region essential for photosynthetic corals and invertebrates, deeper penetration, good for reef tanks, refugiums, aquariums, corals, saltwater, high intensity light. Penetrates deeper than white light. Approx 21 1/2"
450nm:
Briight blue color, deeper penetration, good for reef tanks, refugiums, aquariums, corals, saltwater, high intensity light. Penetrates deeper than white light. The 450 nm is a brighter blue than the 420 nm. Peaks up to 450nm. Instant starting. Works well in freshwater also. Approx 21 1/2"
50/50 10K Plus 420:
Aquarium double light, white on one side, 420 nm (03/blue) actinic on the other. Peaks at 420 nm. Deeper penetration than the 450 nm. 50/50 combination of 10000K trichromatic daylight phosphor and actinic 420 phosphor in the same lamp provides an ideal light source for all marine aquariums and reef tanks. High intensity full spectrum illumination for a living reef, strong in the short wavelength blue region essential for photosynthetic corals and invertebrates, balanced with 10k sunlight for natural color enhancement. Ideal for African Cichilids and Discus. Approx 21 1/2"
