need pump!

Hi floks
my mag 18 seams to be questionable it's not pushing engouf h20 back in to the MT?? does any one out there know any thing about the MAg pumps? It's only 4 months old at lets that is what I was told.
so if any one has a submerable pump I could use to test my pluming that would be great.
or any feedback

Do you know how to calculate the static head? There are some calculators on the ReefCentral home page. What does the pump curve indicate you ought to be getting in terms of flow?

Some possible problems: throttling down the outlet to a smaller tube size; too many turns or t's in the piping, restricted flow to the pump from the sump, etc.

More information might help identify a problem.

ok more info:
4 feet of head.
11/4 inch clear tubing to bulk head.
no 90,s
only one T then in 1 inch tubing to outlets.
