Hey Tunze lovers. I'm planning out my new system right now, and have got around to thinking about the closed loops along with accomplishing random flow. I have oulets (for the CL) located through the bottom and back of the tank, that will all point towards the front of tank, creating a swooping up and over the rock and into the overflow current, like a "gyree" type laminar flow. I was thinking of hooking Oceans Motions to these outlets, but I dont know if I would get enough random flow from them, being on the bottom and all.
So I was thinking of just running the CL's with constant laminar flow from them, and implementing a Wavebox or a couple streams with controller. I want to be able to create a "wave-motion" like I've seen in some videos of the wavebox; Nice random flow. However, I don't like the bulky looks of the wavebox, so maybe I could accomlish the same thing with Streams hooked to my Profilux? Mind you the tank is 60"L x 44"W x 24"H, and I want something that wont be an eyesore, but work very well. Also, it woyuld be great if I could run the wavebox from front to back, rather than side to side. If necessary, I'd be willing to install two waveboxes going front to back, on either side of my overflow box (which is centered along the back wall).
Any help/input/ideas is greatly appreciated!
TIA!
