I am looking for a decent 175w MH ballast, and bulb. I want a blueish white light and this will be going over a 75 gallon.

Hi,
The most proven ballast we have are PFO and Sunlight. These are non-electronic ballast and they rarely have any problems. If you want electronic, we have Icecap and CoralVue, both are very good ballast. Icecap has been around the longest and there track record is excellent. CoralVue is a new comer, but i think there track record will be very good.
On a bulb, if you want a strong blue cast, i would recommend PFO 13K, it's a heavy blue but still bright. If just want a little blue tint, mostly white, i would recommend 12K coralvue. Pure white, i would recommend Ushio or Aqualine Buske, they are the most proven bulbs on the market, but you don't see any blue with them.
