need some advice for my bta

Ive had my anemone for 10 months. its always been extreamely healthy. it split into three about 3 months ago, and i kept 1. it has at least tripled in size and has always been fine.

Lately, (about 7 days now) it has been actly very differently and im starting to get worried. Im hoping you guys can help me unravel somthing im just not seeing.

Its been completely shrinking everynight

its normal behavior was just kinda folding together but staying very large at night.

its been stretching itself in really odd ways. like half will be super stretched and the other half will be tiny

it even twisted a tenicle so tight today that the tenacle fell off

its still accepting food every chance it gets. (but im worried that when its shrinking so small that its losing its food)

changed out a sponge in the aquaclear hang on back last week that might have changed the biofilter a bit, but the nem acting complety different than usual

Ive tried mysis instead of silverslides, still shrunk that night. smaller silverslides... no change.

it does fully open within an hour of the light coming on.

any insight would be appriciated.

Ok guys. anything might help me out here. Im throwing in some pictures to spark some interest in my worrys.

I had an idea perhaps.
Its foot has been wrapped around a rock since Ive had the bta. (even before it split, and after the split I kept the one that was in the same spot as the oringinal.)

Perhaps its really wants to move, outgrown its space and its foot is caught?? I tried shifting it a tiny bit today, but i was afraid my maroon was going to injure herself she was freaking out and attacking so bad.

any opinions and help would be very much appreciated. thanks!

Well, I decided to turn the rock around so he could move if he felt like it. Hes almost in the same spot, and expanded a lil more than it has this week.

Hoping it either moves to a more comfortable spot, or at least doesent shrink tonight
