Need some help

So, I just got a small frag of birdsnest in a trade today. It was fragged today and I just need some advice on it since it's my first SPS. I put it in lower flow and mid-level in my tank on my frag rack. I have it in a 55 gal with a 20 gal 'fuge, 4 T5 HO bulbs (2 ATI blue +, 1 KZ New Gen, 1 KZ Figi purple)+ 2 Stunner UV LED strips. Any advice would be good, I know a new, unhealed frag may not be ideal for a beginner but I just want some advice so I can have it do well for me. Thanks!

oh, and the polyps are already coming out. I did a 15 min long dip in coral Rx (after it was acclimated) as well before it went in the tank.

Birdsnests are a nice hardy coral that is a great first SPS for someone. just keep it low in the tank for a few days and then slowly move it up to where you would like it over a period of a couple weeks. I have kept birdnest up under high light, and about midway down in a 75 gallon with 250 watt MH. For best polyp extension, give them lots of flow.

agreed, i just purchaced my 1st couple sps acropora's large pieces too, i placed them at the bottom of my tank but for an hour when i bought them i had them at the top under my t5's but today its in the sand and it seems to be doing better there for now until i move it up for light acclimation, also keep your water quality low in organics and balanced, and keep a wet skim, sps react fast to changes.
