Need some help

Its been a couple of weeks now since i have identified that my fish are sick with either ich or velvet or something else, quite frankly i have no idea what it could be. I was able to save my first fish treating him in a 20g QT with CP. Since then i have lost now 4 fish in the past week or so. I now have a 75g setup and it using a cycled HOB filter. So far i have been able to catch about 5 fish and i have another 6 to go. Its no easy task to get them so i am trying my best to catch them but it may take me a few more days. My question is, should i wait to catch them all so they could all be in the QT to start another round of CP treatment or can i start the CP treatment now while i try to catch the rest of them and add them as i go? Also, i remember asking this but cant find the thread right now for some reason but how may grams should i start with for CP on a 75g tank?

10mg/l or 40mg/gal bath formulation

Thanks Steve, is the 40mg/gal only for prophylactic treatment or can i use this dose on fish that are confirmed with the parasite? Also what about starting early before i catch all my fish?

40mg/gal is the therapeutic dosage, although some bump it up to 60mg/gal for "active" infections. Just be sure to turn off your aquarium lights as CP is photosensitive.

Ok i got the dosing straight, can anyone chime in on if i could start before i get all my fish in the QT? Looks like i may have to tear apart the DT tank as i had no luck tonight getting anyone out.
