Need some help.....

okay so i recently set up a 10 gallon nano and had a question about the lighting.
I currently have the corallife 96 watt PC on the mounting legs and was loosing alot of water becuase of it. so if i put a glass top on the 10 gallon and just set the PC on top would the Light not penatrate the depth of the tank as much.......?

I would use an auto top off instead of a glass top

What kind of corals are you looking to keep in it? I had a 20H with a Finnex 108W fixture over it and had an acrylic top that fit the top to cut down on evaporation and didn't have any problems.

I think you'd be o.k. as long as you don't plan on SPS in the tank

yeah im focusing shrooms and zoos....... so i guess ill do that
