I recently moved and after I finished aquascaping my 24 aquapod I noticed that there were three zoo's, one was larger than the other two, with one of the little ones right next to it. The other zoo was about an inch above the other two on the lr. They are black with 4 or 5 orange spots near the center of them. I see them close up at night and re-open during the day. Does anyone know what kind these are?? I dont have any pics right now, due to me still living in my home town, until the job situation is figured out. (The two hour drive on the weekends is killing my tank fund, with these gas prices)
Any ways, is there anything I can do to promote them to grow and branch out. I have the pc lighting, and am running a 10 hour light cycle, with a daytime temp of 81.8 and a night temp of 79.2. I am assuming that these have been on the rock this whole time, ( tank was set up in march) They are fun to watch open and close. I have done some research, but I figured I would ask those of you who have zoo's for some info, after all you can only learn so much from a book.
