Any thoughts omn a skimmer. i'm been looking at HOB's and have my old in the sump skimmer. Which would you use and what do you have. I really want an all in one filter and skimmer, of course HOB. But a plain Hob skimmer will do. It's for a 55g LR with fish, that's the plan for now. I looked at several, but wnat to see what everbody else is using now. Doesn't have to be a HOB, just show me what you're using. Oh my reason for a HOB is more because if the p[ower ever goes out, I don't want to come back to a wet saltwater oak floor, the widfe would kill me and I lov living. Also anyone usingh the old airstone skimmers? I had one that I just loved until i was swindled out of it. I let a guy borrow it and, well never got it back. It was the one I got with the sump I have now. This is the one i currently have. I probably could use it as a HOB but not that ambitious at the moment. Just trying to get back in the hobby for now. Oh, I'm on a budget, for now so some things will be too much, but not everything. So, what are you using and what skimmer (hob) or aqll in one do you think would work well on my 55. Not worrioed about the optics really.
