need some tips

Home for the unusual!
Okay guys and gals, I am taking my neice to Shedd Aquarium in Chicago next month and want tips for picture taking. I normally use natural light but not in such an enclosed area like that and I doubt I'll be able to use my flash inside. Any suggestions or pics you want to see? haha

First, what camera? I also believe, (and someone may correct me if I'm wrong), you may be able to use the flash in some of the aquarium. Maybe not the octo or squid tanks, but you could call and ask the shedd.

If you can't use the flash, a monopod may help some. One with a foot arm would probably help the most.

Oh, Hi Cherish!!!!!

Nikon D40 I'm taking my sigma 70-300 w/macro capabilities, and prob my 18-55 kit lens. Shedd's website says no flash :( I haven't taken aquatic pics in so long and never with my dslr that I'm kinda nervous they won't turn out :)
Shhh don't tell the lounge I was here and I won't tell them you were here.
