--HI ! I have just started back into this hobby after about 20 years, I had a 90 gallon mostly fish salt water aquarium which I sucessfully kept for about 8yrs; but had to sell everything off as I moved to Arizona in 1994 from Long Island, N.Y. I am presently building my refugium which is 68.00IN.'s long; 30.00in.'s deep and 24.00 in.'s tall. Next will be the tank.
I am building everything from 3/4 in. plywood, and using epoxy to make water proof. I would like to know if anyone knows if there is a paint I could use for painting over the epoxy coat, and can withstand degradation of UV.
As for the tank itself the last coat of epoxy will partake with crushed coral so painting the inside of the tank will not be necessary. The refugium is mainly where I would be using the painted epoxy surface and above 16.00 in.'s as that will be the basic depth of the water flowing threw, or where the waterline would be.
Any used, and sucessfull use of said paint would be appreciated....Thanks Geostorm............::deadhorse1:
