Hi all,
The short of it is:

How do I remove a toad stool from a rock with out killing it. I want to sell it. It's about 4-5 inches, and attached at the base.

Do I just cut it off?

Thanks in advance.

Should be fine with cutting it all off. You could try using bone cutters on the rock it is on and cut out a small base, too. Instant mount and a little less stress. Denser rock is harder to cut, obviously. Fiji usually cuts like butta.

Just cut it off like said above, a razor works great. It will easily attach to another substrate (rock) in a couple days if you use a needle/toothpick/glue/string to hold it to the rock. The important part is that the freshly cut area is directly in contact with the new substrate.
