I just got back from vacation and I found that the structural divider on the top of my 55g has been cracked. I no longer trust the structural integrity of the tank so I want to just sell everything as soon as possible so I don't come home to a room full of water.

I've got about 100lbs of live rock that I'll sell for $2.50/lb.
I've got around 70lbs of live sand that I'll sell for $1.00/lb.
1 1-1/2" Percula clown for $10
1 1-1/2" Watermelon Wrasse for $10
1 Aqua C Remora Skimmer w/Mag 3 for $90
1 CPR Bak Pak Skimmer - $75
1 175w MH lighting and 130w PC lighting combo Fixture - Need to think about this
1 130w PC lighting setup
2 Misc. Powerheads

The rock has some issues with algae and bubble algae but thats because the system has been neglected recently. The rock on a plus side also has mushrooms, zoos, kenya trees and some green frog spawn.

I apologize for the sketchy details but I'm in a rush to get this stuff sold. Please e-mail me and I'll give you my phone number. Thank you.

Just repair it? Clean the current cross member real well, then laminate a new piece of acrylic on top of it using Weldon. You could use a pipe clamp to draw the front and back of the tank together if needed while the glue cures.

If the problem is where the divider attaches to the tank, put two smaller new dividers adjacent to it.

I've thought about breaking down the tank for months now and the situation is one that just finalizes that idea.

I'm willing to negotiate the stated prices above. PM me if your interested in the livestock or equipment. I'll be available tonight after I get off of work and all day Friday. Thank you.

I forgot to mention that I have a 29g tank ($35) and black cabinetry ($40). I also have a black wrought iron stand for the 55g tank ($45).

If you feel that any of the prices mentioned are unfair then please offer me a price that you feel is more appropriate.
