OK,

I want a Nano reef but I want to get an overall good tank. Which ones do you like?

Nano Cube
Aquapod
Minibow
Finnex M-Tank
Any others.....I am leaving out.

I want to have the best lights without getting a 2nd mortgage.
What do you have?

nano cube and aqua pod are almost the same thing from what i hear...in order to achive a decent water flow you will need to modify both slightly.personaly i lean towards the nano by jbj ...they are easily modified and now that there is a skimmer that fits in them you are all set i cannot speak on the others cause i have no expierence with them. there is one advantage to the aquapod though you can order it w/ a 70watt halide without having to retro and modify

I was hoping to see someone have something else than an Aquapod or Nano Cube.......whatever happened to minibows or Finnex's M Tank? or any other options

They're too weak IMO (mini-bows and finnex) IMO. Your way better off getting something like the nano-cube that only needs a better pump than having to upgrade lighting, filtration, flow, etc...

just get 10 gallon AGA, AC 50 filter, and a coralife or Current light fixture and youve got yourself a perfect little nano...

out of those on the list I agree with the above post they appear similar. But After 2 years with a 12g nano, If I had to do it again I would think box, light, current. The substrate of a reef tank does the rest. I ripped out all the filter stuff in my nano.... so why pay for it if you don't need it? unless you just what to plug it in and fill it up=- then they make since. 70watt MH will give you the widest range of critters you'll be able to keep!
