I'm new to this forum, but have a question about my ORA neon dottyback. It's been in my tank as a lone dottyback for about 1.5-yrs now. Recently, it's been showing a swollen abdomen but acts completely normal (eats like a pig, breathes normal, etc). I don't suspect sickness as all the fish in my 2-yo SPS/clam dominant 28g are doing well. I also have a pair of SA fancy snows, ORA spotted mandarin, and a coral beauty angel which have all been in the tank for over a year.
I don't have a pic just yet, but will try to snag one tomorrow. Pictures I have found of spawning dottybacks look SPOT ON like mine. Is it possible for my dottyback to be spawning even without a mate in the tank? Any concern if so?
