i am thinking of getting a neon dottyback for my 44 gallon tank but i want to get some info and other people experiance with them before i bought it. hipe you guys can help me out

They are pretty aggressive. Can/will eat ornamental shrimp. Mine was and did. It was in a 55g reef.

I have one in my tank for about 7 months and he has ADD aggression...he bullies new fishes for about 30-45min then forgets about them and goes about his business. He does though hates other dottybacks to the point of killing them, he killed a bi-color in my 120 fowlr.

I have one ina 55 gallon with ornamental shrimp, gobies & blennies. It has never caused any problem and is my favorite fish.

get a captive bred if available. much less aggresive than wild caught.
