I was interested in buying a pala nephthea. I have heard mixed reviews about if it is toxic or not. I do not want to put corals in my tank that can kill everything. Can someone tell me about this coral. Thanks

Is that the bright neon green one? If so, I have one in my 15G. I think I got it in January at Nashville frag swap. It was sold to me as a green finger leather, but it turned out to be nephthia. I have had no problem with it so far. My 15G is a mixed softy tank.

I forgot to mention I plan to have montiporas,leather corals and different types of coral in my tank.

Try to keep nephthia and leathers such as sinularia away from hard corals. Although I was told that it is best to keep hard corals and soft corals separate, a lot of people keep mixed reef successfully. I have a SPS dominated reef (but still a mixed reef) in my 120 and all of my corals grow well and have nice colors. I try not to get them too close to each other and I run GAC. I hope others will chime in about this topic so that you can get more varied opinions.
