Neptune DC8 compatible with digital aquatics

Does anyone know if the older DC8 from neptune can be used on a reefkeeper? Same 4 pin telephone conector?

I don't think they're compatible. The new Apex power bars use a USB cable. The only phone jack on the unit is for the temp probe

Edit: Kori? If you want to come by my place you're welcome to look at my Apex setup... Bring the DC8 by and we can see if we can figure it out.

No it will not work. The two systems use completely different protocols and wiring.
