Well, it's almost midnight, and Kass just left... Just kidding...
I would like to thank everyone for comming to see my tanks. If my memory serves me correctly, there were 11 people who attended,10 club members, and I would classify that as awesome turnout! I was delighted to see everyone again, and talk at great length with I think everyone...
As you can tell, I've come a LONG way, especially this past year. I was excited to show that all off, and hopefully in the near future, have everyone back for a followup visit to see what's been done. I think you'll all agree, there's some pretty lofty goals, and big tanks to fill, I look forward to surprising you all.
John, of John and Dawn, thank you so much for the frags, especially the Zoa and Ricordia. I cant wait for them to open fully. I also look forward to swinging in the hammock and taking a gander at the "Feeding the tank" stuff you recommended. please keep me posted on the Blasto... And your gonna have to get together with me now, as I have a certain sweatshirt shown in the photo below.
Mako, first to arrive... you get the consolation prize my friend... your picture on the internet.
<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/jmkarcz/IMG_6080.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
Thank you so much for the great frag, I mean Colony of Digita... If that Blasto starts growing for you keep me posted as well.
Jon, of Jon and Lisa... pleasure seeing you, AND the girls. Just about the time they start warming up to me... we part ways... Thank you very much for the frag... It's well aclimated. I cant wait for that one to open either.
<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/jmkarcz/IMG_6078.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
John, Andrew, Jon, Jason, Fred, Freds GF (wanna say Amanda, but I know it's worng... help me out Fred - very nice lady) Spike, Mike, and way over one the right, Scott.
Special mention, because she's there, but nearly invisable...
<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/jmkarcz/IMG_6079.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
KASS
If you look close, you can see her smile it looks like this...
<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/jmkarcz/koolAid.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
And later, after it was way to dark for photos outside, Lisa came, and Fred and his (GF) (wanna say Amanda, but I know it's worng... help me out Fred - very nice lady) came back... to rub in that he bought the only decent coral in a LFS in Green Bay...
<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/jmkarcz/IMG_6082.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
Fred and Spike... floating Freds coral because he couldn't wait to get home... Like roasting weenies, they were huddled around the halides, cooking Freds coral.
<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/jmkarcz/IMG_6081.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
This meeting I had pleasure of meeting some new faces for me.
First Johnanddawn, (who I hear from that Dawn never posts... It's like JANDLMS, only without the Lisa) I thank you for the conversations we had this evening about reefs and fish. It was far too easy to talk to you, and I fear we could spend days talking and only scratch the surface.
Scott, Mr. Yaitisme ( who looks NOTHING like his avatar - but found out that it is a picture of some other guy he does not know... Scott, I was delighted to talk to you, and I'll buy the first round when you, John, and I go out for wings... sorry we never got to drilling holes. - that guy in your avatar is just scary.)
And last but Lisa, Lishoop. Young grasshoppa... be patient, and you will have a good tank, tanks, then your own fish store. I know you want it all faster, and more, but it will come on it's own time... just focus on the stuff you have, make that great, then move forward. And remember what I said... Talkingreef.com t's a start.
Thank you again for comming. Now I'm gonna go have some salsa. Kass thinks she got it all, but I hid some in the fridge befor you all got here.
So, what did everyone think?
