New 120 gallon tank - part deux

Last night Dave and Ramiro stayed up late and helped me move my SPS corals to the new tank. (Actually they didn't help, they did all the work)

Here's the result of Dave's unsurpassed aquascaping skills.

And if you ever need a fish captured, Ramiro's your man.

Looks great. Now you just need a few more corals, and maybe a few fish. What lights did you end up going with? Ushio?

I didn't aqua scape. I just cut corals off the old rock and transferred them and......"accidentally" broke pieces off the ones Ramiro wanted.

I'm using two 400W 20,000K XMs on each side and the Ushio 400W 14000K in the center, but all that's on in the pictures are the XMs.

very nice, is the rockwork free standing in the middle of the tank or is it resting against the back wall?

looks like it just needs some time and a little activity. what fish are you planning to add?

The rock is leaning against the wall, up against the sump, and on the small sandbox Dave installed for the fish.

I've only got the candy hogfish Ramiro captured the other night in the tank, but I'll start adding more fish soon. Mary is in charge of species selection, so I really don't know what'll end up in there. She says they all have to be colorful though (that's the kindergarten teacher in her.)

Those are some great SPS in your Tank Doc. That is going to be one spectacular looking tank! How did you get your wife to let you have that sandbox in your tank? Amy would never let me have that in mine
