new 210 room divider...asking for help

I currently have a 75g and a 55g but I need input from experienced people with setting this up. I got a heckuva deal on this thing but can't find anything on the net as far as setting it up correctly. It is going to be a FOWLR and has a 55g sump/fuge with it. What I need to know are the basic things like how many and what size heaters, how many powerheads and what type of skimmer I would need. I am going to be getting rid of the 55g and taking over the 75g as my reef. I will have 2 extra skimmers after that. A coralife ss 65 and a typhoon. Both are HOB. Can these be used/modified or do I need to look into something different? This is a whole new ballgame for me as this tank is alot more than I have ever dealt with before. Also, any advice, no matter how small will be greatly appreciated. Thanks !!

i just set up a 210 also. i have a 55 gallon sump and a 90 gallon fuge. i have 3 250 watt heaters in the sump. i have a total of 5 powerheads (3 seio 1100s and 2 mj1200s with the high flow mod)
i am using a mag 3600 for the return. i have a css220 and a homemade 5 gallon water jug skimmer.

Thanks for the help am3gross. How much more difficult is it taking care of this tank than a smaller one? I'm pretty anal about my other 2 tanks. Regular water changes, testing schedule, etc etc. Also, what did you do for sand? Seed from another tank or buy LS ?

I would recommend you to spend a lot of time reading on RC. The questions you are asking are great. The only thing is that there are so many different answers to your question. Bare bottom vs sand then how deep of sand and what type. then how do you set it up. look at as many tanks as you can and decide on what you like most. this is a hoby lots of trial and error but thanks to RC alot less error now then when I started.
