New 6105 issue

Hello Tunze,

I just bought a new 6105 and it seems to be acting up. I installed it without any controller connected to it just to see how it ran. It runs for about 10 seconds and then stops for a second or two, then runs again for a few seconds and then stops, continually repeating this cycle. The intervals between starts and stops seems to vary.

Using the power supply that came with it (6105.240) I have tried both the 24v and 18v jumpers with the same results as above.

Just to see, I then hooked it up to my apex controller. It did not seem to follow the program and again would start and stop at random intervals. However, it would stop for the feeding timer I had programmed in.

Please advise.

Could of said, MP-40 but you've heard that before. Did you call Dan and see if he can swap and return it?

LOL. I did not call him yet, I don't really want to drive back out there, but I may have to

I tried switching the power supply and used the ps from my other 6105. The new 6105 continued to act as described above.

I then called my LFS and they agreed to swap it out for a new one.

Got the replacement. Works perfectly! All is right with the world once again!
