Ok it's been up a little over 2 weeks. We will be adding a mini-clean up crew later this week. 4 snails.

Got the http://www.hamiltontechnology.com/shop/index.php?task=show&cat=16''+Deluxe+Compact+Fluorescents 16'' that will be in this week. So sat will be spent making a new hood for the lights...was going for the 70w MH but dn want to deal with the heat.

i have a minibow 7 with MH and PC lighting.
i do have an auto top off system and its pretty effective thus far.
it is made from a 1 gallon jug, some airline tubing and super glue.
This has so far eliminated the need for top offs
but i still have to do water changes,

As for the heat issue, i have a custom canopy with a very effective fan that keeps my temps consistant. (this ato unit has been running for about a week, but so far, i am very confisdent in using it)

it's for my girlfriend's home office. she keeps telling everyone I've spent over $300 and still no fish!!! All because she went to the LFS with me and saw a percula CF...
