New 90 gallon drilled tank

I am setting up my new 90 gallon tank. It is pre-drilled. The PVC that came for both the inlet and the discharge was not glued. No water is leaking around the seal at the base of the tank, but I noticed that water was getting in through the non-glued joints. Is this a big deal or should I glue the PVC?

Put some unions in there and glue it.
If a pipe slips out it will flood your house.
