new acro

i just got a new smaller acro colony.. also had an acro crab in it!! anyway when placing it in the aquarium how bad is it to handle it a little?? ive done this with frags before, to place it i kind of had my hand on the tips of it, they look a little faded wherever i touched.. how bad is it to do that?? its the only way i could place it.. im pretty sure in a couple days it will be unnoticable but i was just was wondering what others think.. and yes i will get pics im just gonna let it settle a bit.. it has a greenish brown base, up to green at mid branches with purple tips..im also not sure what it is..any input would help ..thanks..

ok so i checked it out this morning and it seems that the encrusting on the base has recedded a very very small amount.. should i be worried or should i let it go for a couple of days to see how it adjusts?? i have heard of using superglue along the edge in hopes of stopping and possible tissue loss.. should i rush and do this or let it adjust??
