I ran across a deal on ebay. Not sure if what kind it is just looks cool. I figured you would like those. The picture does not do the one on the right justice, it is very cool looking in person.
Where do you keep your Rics? High flow, light etc? I only have the one you gave me and it has not grown or done much.

I saw four great looking rics on ebay and thought about it overnight and they were gone the next morning....where they from a seller in Portland?
The one ones that are taking off are the ones i have high in my tank or two feel in the sand and they took off.....so the lower flow seems to be the key for me. Our lighting is very different so that would be hard to compare. I would think since your lighting is so much stronger I would try in the sand like you have, but since you have strong flow, you may want to find a place (beside a rock) that does not have strong flow.
I have others that I need to move around as they too are not growing either. I had one in my 29 fall off a rock ledge and then boom, it openen up like never before, so where I have about a dozen of them must be getting too much light. I will need to redo my tank to allow them all to drop to this new level. So, it sounds like until you find the right slow/light they will just sit there.

You can encourage splits by slicing them right down the middle with a razor blade. Sometimes they'll heal back up, but it's a good way to propagate. Their allelopathy is supposedly pretty toxic to acro's though.
