New Apex... no power adapter

Question for the folks who may know. I got a new Apex base module and display module this weekend, but it did not come with a 12V power adapter. I did NOT get an energy bar 8, as I already had 2 direct connect 8s (and I didnt feel the need for a third), so I don't know if that would have normally supplied power to the base module or if it should have come with its own 12V power supply.

I'll call Neptune on Monday, but if someone knows whether or not it should have come with one I may just hop out to the store tomorrow to supply my own if necessary (in lieu of wating a week or more to get it shipped to me). Thoughts?

The 12v adapter is an optional item, since the Apex base unit is normally powered by the EB8.

You can pickup and use a universal AC/DC adapter... it needs 12vdc, 500ma, 2.1mm tip with the center positive.
