New Aquascape

I want to thank Mario from Tinley Park with his design of my aquascape. For over 6 years I have grown corals from softies to sps. Along the way I have had disappointment with corals dying or bleaching. I decided to downgrade from a 250gal system to a in the wall 210 gal, with retirement coming soon I decided to go in another direction. After watching "Fish Tank Kings" on television myself and the wife felt that artifical corals would be the best solution for our needs. Mario went to work and design a aquascape that would fit my needs and system that was being put together. Im posting the finish product and it beautiful, it looks like real corals. Thanks Mario

it's really incredible how realistic they make artificial corals look nowadays....

now all you need to do is sit back, have a glass of your favorite liquid and.....enjoy!!!

How do you keep it clean? Need to be removed and bleached like typical?

you remove the piece and rinse off using hydrogen peroxide using a spray bottle. Also with the salinty being kept at 1.019 algea doesn't grow as fast. I also chose this way because now I don't have to worry about the tank while away on vacation. I don't have the need for alot of equipment such calcuim reactors, skimmers etc.

yep...I saw this tank in person and I can honestly say the picture above does it no justice (sorry boxer, not hatin' on your photo skills..lol)
the artificial corals look incredibly realistic and the colors are very vivid, just like you want your real corals to look...

an excellent job done by all involved....!!!!

After losing all my coral for an unknown reason, I decided to go this way too. I had my doubts, but it is shaping up beautifully!
