Took some of these just now when I discovered an animal. Unfortunately it disappeared before I could take pictures. It seemed like a giant snail but without a shell.

Added names before the pictures.

All shots were handheld with flow still on. One day I'll get my tripod out and do some shots with flow off @ ISO 100.
 
Do you have a tripod you could work with? That would eliminate some of the blur caused by camera shake. It would also let you increase the aperture for greater DOF .

Yep. Got a Gitzo but don't have my ballhead yet. A lot of movement was from the flow still being on.

Unfortunately the area around my tank is cluttered and I can't use the tripod w/ my macro lens. I can only use it with the 300mm but the pics aren't as close.
