Well here is a shot of our newest addition to our tank. From what I understand it is green birdnest. It has been here for about 1 week and everything seemed to be doing fine. Nice long polyp extension etc... but..
Yesterday, our tuxedo urchin pushed the frag over and down beside our large size hammer coral.
and I assume that the hammer stung the new birdnest and destroyed some of the flesh which explains the white skeleton spots on the backside of the coral in the picture.
Is it likely that this is what has happened or should I be concerned about something else that might have caused the tissue loss?
