New Bubble tip opened for a few days and now just hides in rocks.

Morning everyone, some details:
75g tank 20 gallon sump, setup for almost a year now.
Lightly stocked with 2 black occelaris clowns, 1 firefish and 1 cardinal.
Quite a few corals which are mostly lps and some softies, all are doing very well.
Temp as shown by apex is 76-77 throughout the day in the sump and 77-78 in the dt as it fluctuates throughout the day but never more than 1 full degree.
I recently started running carbon and gfo in a reactor (could this be the issue? seems like before the carbon and gfo the nem was happy, however the nem was still new so I didnt think it was related, now Im questioning it)
I also put Kalk in my ATO and because of the dryness here about 1 gallon a day is lost, I also add calc and alk and mag on the weekend to get my levels right or close to it.
I'll put the specifics here for simplicity
Calc: 420 (last tested yesterday, averages 420-450)
Mag: Averages 1200 ish was 1140 last I tested, I've been slowly adding to raises this.
Alk: averages 7-9 was just a bit over 8 last I tested.
Phos: .03 last I tested about 2 weeks ago
Nitrates: 0 or at least undetectable by api kit.
Temp: 77-79
Cond: showing 35.8 normally fluctuates between 34.1 to 35.9 or so but when i test with the refracto it shows 35 on the dot every time I check.
ORP: (i know this one doesnt mean much but I'll include it anyways) used to always average from 330-400 right now its lower but its been steadily rising for a day now. I think it dropped because I put some epoxy on some of my rocks and they were curing. Thats my guess at least. right now it shows 316.
PH: floats from 8.1-8.35
Lights: LED with 96 leds for a total of 288w at max power, which I havent taken above 40-45% max. Most channels are lower throughout the day, the light ramps up throughout the day. heres a link to the light if you're curious about its specs to help me whether I'm doing too little light or not. https://www.reefbreeders.com/shop/aquasanrise-plus-r90/
So because of the addition of a lot of corals, I've raised my lights and turned their brightness down a bit while I acclimate. I was thinking also that the nem was unhappy because of the bright light, so I also raised the lights even higher. He would hide down in the rocks so I assumed I was giving him too much light. After reading around I'm thinking he may be hiding because of not enough light? Seems like it would worsen his situation but hey what do I know. I've started lowering my light closer to the tank again and will be raising the intensity over the next week or so.
Anyone have any recommendations or things to try? Really want to make this guy happy. Could it be the GFO/Carbon? Could it be my lights are not intense enough? What else am I missing? Thanks everyone for the time.

The identical thing is happening to my nem... I'll follow along to see what help you get on this

I feel for you. Its very upsetting to see him unhappy. Hoping he will become happy again. I'm gonna slowly raise my lighting intensity for now and run more white and red light see if that helps him. Think my white and red was a bit low? Still would love any advice from someone that keeps these guys successfully...

Please post some pictures of your anemone

Heres a day or so after I got him.

and the same day. (this was probably 2 weeks ago maybe a bit more)

and a few ways ago.

and today. (i put him a few inches higher and he walked down.

Should I not move him again? seems like if he wanted the light more he would open? Has he been bleached so much that hes a goner? how can I feed him if he wont open?

Last night I tried feeding him a small sliver of silver side and it seemed like he closed up around it a bit. Hours later it seemed like it was still in his tentacles, this morning it was hard to tell but it looked like it was partially still in his tentacles... Should I remove the leftover so it doesn't waste away in close proximity to him? Still would love any advice....

I would definitely remove the silver side, silver sides are generally bad food for anemones. I would stop feeding the to your nem as they are ofter rotted by the time they are frozen and can pose a infection risks

I appreciate this information, however it doesn't really assist me with my current issue. This is actually the first piece of silver side that has been fed so its most certainly not the cause of the decline in health of my anemone. I'll stray away from feeding it silver sides, however I'm not even sure if he really ate it or if it just floated away eventually (which of course is bad as well I know). I'm open to suggestions as to what should be fed. How can I even get him to eat if he doesn't open much and hides in the rocks? Should I even worry about feeding him or just cross my fingers and hope his zooanthellea algae can repopulate? I'm really looking for someone to give me some advice that expert anemone keepers would be trying right now if their bta was light and hiding often.

Wow, this E.Quadricolor is really a baby.

The lights used for the pic are very dark/blueish. Maybe i'm wrong, but this animal looks like it lost it's zoxantelles/is bleached.
As anemones in this state are quite hard to care, dealers normally shouldn't sell, but cure in their own tanks first.

Ok, and yes he is pretty darn white. I had figured he was losing his zoo algae. He was white as paper when I bought him dumb on my part the person at the lfs told me that's how they are when they are young and he would gain color soon. Unfortunately it's too late to go back and not buy him, however I can try to nurse him back to good health. Any good advice?
Are my lights too blue should I increase the other colors some on my lights? Also the camera may wash out some of the color. What to me looks too white shows purple or blue on the iPhone camera.

Anyone have any good advice? I've been raising my light intensity slowly, attempting to feed a bit more often than I would, anything else I should/shouldn't do?

I would let it rest and give it good light, as for feeding I would hold off on that for a little, as long as the anemone has at least a little zoo left in it. As for food you should feed, mysis shrimp is good and normal human consumption shrimp you'd get from the fresh fish counter at your local grocery store as long as it's not cooked
