Hey good people of RC i currently have a 125 gal fowlr and im in a slow process of converting it to a reef. Let me run down the small list of equipment i have now and i would love if you guys could tell me what i need and what i should keep or get rid of. I have a wet/dry filter for a 200gal tank,a magdrive pump(900gph) a uv sterilizer that is too small with a 2 1/2 year old bulb,about 140watts of power compact light (50/50 bulbs) 60-75lbs of live rock about 1 1/2 inches of sand. And that about sums it up. I have had the tank up and running about 3 years now. Now dont laugh but right now all i have for fish is 9 damsels 6 blue devils 1 gold 1 domino and 1 that im not sure about. The three odd ones are HUGE. About 2 1/2 inches long by the same high. There the biggest damsels i have seen in my time of aquariums. Now info that im looking for is lighting,clean up crew,if i need more sand or live rock,if i need a protien skimmer and if so what id best,uv sterilizer,pump,power heads ect.ect. Any list or info would be great. TIA!!!!!
